Definition
Thrust ball bearing is a type of axial loading rolling bearing. Its angular contact is greater than 45°. The basic components are shaft ring, seat ring and steel balls with or without cage (retainer).
There are single direction thrust ball bearing and double direction thrust ball bearing. FITRUN mainly manufactures miniature thrust ball bearing with single direction.
Features
The thrust bearing is lower speed rotation limit, and just can be axially loaded. With spherical seat ring, it can self-align and so as to eliminate the effect of installation tolerance.
The bearing performance is highly enhanced with special super grinding technology on the ball bearing components.
The bearing material utilization is enhanced 18% by applying the high speed hot former casting technology. The thrust ball bearing life span is longer and with lower noise.
The retainer surface is hydrogen and nitrogen treated, which makes the tensile strength of bearing retainer be enhanced about 64%.
Applications
Thrust ball bearings are widely applied many industries. Here below are just a few of the industries and products which they are applied.
Elevator
Plastic machinery
Office equipment
Medical equipment
Stepper motor
Gear transmission
Pressure rotor
Fitness and sports equipment
